Mountain States Toyota CYLA State Championship
Score Keeper/Clock Operator Job Description

NDP Lacrosse is seeking event staff for the 2013 Mountain States Toyota CYLA State Championship tournament, taking place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th.

We are currently hiring the position of score keeper/clock operator for both days.

This position is responsible for keeping an accurate running score for assigned games and to operate the game clock (clock provided by NDP). The position is also responsible for ensuring that game balls are placed on end-lines before each game and for making sure that game balls supply is kept at an acceptable level.

This position will NOT be required to keep any kind of individual or team stats other than the running score of the game. Clock operation will include the starting & stopping of the clock on dead ball situations (out-of-bounds, timeouts, etc.).

This position will be supervised by a “Pod Monitor”. Each Pod Monitor will oversee the games on a section of 6 fields and will be available to answer questions and/or handle issues. Each score keeper/clock operator will have a direct line of communication with the Pod Monitor.

This position pays $12 per game assigned (up to 20 games available per person over the course of the event). Meals are also included and all staffers will be given official staff t-shirt to wear during games and to keep after the event. A mandatory meeting will be conducted by the Tournament Director 45 minutes before games begin (see the start times below) in order to cover any questions or issues.

Below are the times/shifts available. Please note that preference will be given to those that can work at least one entire day. Our preference is to not split individual days (i.e. half-day on Saturday).

If interested, please contact Pamela Dadaos by phone at 303.575.1902 or by email at pdadaos@pepsicenter.com. Positions will be filed on a first come-first served basis.
