Tournament Dates:

Friday - Sunday, June 7 - 9, 2013

Venues:

The tournament will be held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Pods 1 and 2, which has 10 grass fields and 2 turf fields. The address for Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is 6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022.


DIVISIONS OFFERRED

Boys 9U, 11U, 13U, 15U, Rising Stars (no rising seniors), Elite (all high school classes including rising seniors)


TOURNAMENT FEATURES

7 game minimum guarantee (round robin games are shorter in length)

Certified officials

Regulation size fields

Round robin and playoff phases

Individual awards for all teams finishing 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each division

Official qualifier for the Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions (see below)


REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES

All registrations are per team... there are no per player fees!

For youth teams (15U and younger) the registration fee is $995.

For high school teams the registration fee is $1850.

All teams must also pay a fully-refundable $200 deposit. This deposit will be refunded if we recieve full payment and full roster by May 17th.

The deadline for final payment and submission of the team roster and player waivers is Friday, May 17th.

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT HOST HOTEL INFORMATION

The Embassy Suites Aurora is the official host hotel of the Dick's Sporting Goods Colorado Cup and is the only hotel offering special rates for our teams.

The Embassy Suites is the closest hotel to Dick's Sporting Goods Park and is conveniently located just minutes from the Northfield Stapleton shopping area.

All rooms at the Embassy are suite style and include full breakfast as well as access to the nightly manager's reception.

DICK'S SPORTING GOODS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

As mentioned above, this tournament is an official qualifier for the Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions. Top finishers in the U11, U13, U15, Rising Stars and Elite divisions will receive bids to compete in the national championship.

Tournament staff will determine which teams are to receive the bids and will hand deliver them after your last game.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES/BRACKETS

In general, we will release the tournament schedules/brackets by the Friday one-week prior to the event start date. However, please note that we will not release the schedules until all teams have paid in full and submitted a team roster.

The schedules will be posted on www.ndplacrosse.com. Once the schedules are posted, a drop down menu entitled "Select a Division" will appear on the left hand side of the homepage. From this menu, select your division and the schedule will load. For the Dick's Sporting Goods Colorado Cup, all divisions will appear with "DSG CC" before the age label. For instance, the Rising Stars schedule will appear as "DSG CC HS Rising Star".

NDP LACROSSE AGE ELIGIBILITY

Age cut offs for all 2013 NDP summer tournaments are as follows:

9U - Born on or after 8/1/2003
11U - Born between 8/1/2001 and 9/30/2003
13U - Born between 8/1/1999 and 9/30/2001
15U - Born between 8/1/1997 and 9/30/1999
Rising Stars - any rising freshman, sophomores, or juniors (no rising seniors)
Elite - any high school age (including rising seniors)


PLAYER WAIVERS AND PROOF OF AGE

Every player in the tournament must have a completed waiver on file before the tournament begins. The good news is that the waivers can be completed on line! No downloading, printing and filling out any paper. The waiver process takes about 2 minutes and can be done right from this website. Click on the "Liability Waiver & Medical Release" link in the menu on the left hand side of this page and follow the prompts.

In addition to player waivers, each player must show a proof of their date of birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, or state-issued ID). This is a onetime request, and players will be issued unique NDP Lacrosse identification numbers for use in future NDP tournaments. We make this request in order to assure the safety of all players, and guarantee age cutoffs in our divisions.
